Dr Julie Winstanley

Psychologist · Researcher · Founder of Living Well

I’m Dr Julie Winstanley, a psychologist, researcher and the founder of Living Well.

I’ve spent much of my career researching how people experience health, wellbeing and change — but Living Well also grew from something much more personal. I know what it’s like when life becomes complicated, when health changes, when you have to rethink what comes next, and when the usual advice simply doesn’t fit real life.

I created Living Well to bring those two worlds together: psychology and research, alongside the reality of actually living through change.

The result is practical, personalised support designed to help you understand what’s happening, work out what matters to you and take realistic next steps — without judgement, pressure or perfection.

Through the Living Well Hub you can find personalised tools, specialist programmes, practical support, consultations and resources for different stages and challenges in life.

Some people come to Living Well for menopause or healthy ageing support. Others are making lifestyle changes, restarting their career, completing a PIP application or simply trying to work out what they need next.

For organisations, Living Well Partners develops tailored digital support, programmes and solutions for workplaces, services and communities.
